It is a curious mixture of the oldest and the newest. The Bahrain sourdough is from the oldest of the old. It rises well and is considered the most sour type of sourdough breads. It was then traced back to his father who got it from a Yukon prospector. It has a very mellow sour taste that most enjoy.
