It’s chicken week! Remember to get your Christal Fields chicken this week, or you will have to wait until next month… There are plenty of delicious meats available! RCM is very proud to offer such a diverse selection to our customers! Try some ground chicken from Christal Fields (or any of their whole muscle or bone-in products), get premium cuts of beef (like the eye of round roast pictured above from R&D) or taste the difference with heritage breed pork from Porch Swing Farms! Help us welcome Pawpaw’s Pecans to the RCM family this week! You can try his locally grown pecans, pecan smoked BBQ sauce or homemade fudge! It is a great week to re-stock your freezer after the holiday weekend! The RCM meat category is stocked with better products and more choices than the grocery store! They are sweet and delicious and they won’t be around long, just like summer! In hot weather cucumbers are great for staying hydrated; let them do double duty as a healthy snack! Connor’s Garden and Sweets and Pleasant View have plenty of cucumbers available! Our bakers have breakfast breads, sandwich breads and buns, sweet breads, dinner rolls, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, bars and more! We have baked goods that go great with every meal! Peppers are plentiful right now; they are a great nutritious snack or a great ingredient in your dinner recipes! Pine Ridge Gardens, Pleasant View and The Thomas Family have sweet and spicy peppers for you! It’s a good time to stock up on okra and freeze it for use over the winter. Let RCM help you make going back to school easy with delicious local goods! There is a huge selection of homemade cookies for snacks and lunches or maybe some of Kaitylyn’s Sweets and Treats mini cupcakes will make your student smile! Fresh breads, local honey and all kinds of jams and jellies can make some unique sandwiches, too! There are plenty of fresh peppers available from Pine Ridge Gardens and Pleasant View as well as cucumbers from Connor’s Garden and Sweets, okra from Hoof Hollow Hobbies and lots of yellow squash! We are super excited to welcome Drewry Farms back this week!! We know how busy they are at the farm during growing seasons!
