The Purple Gypsy has beard wax and oils, or maybe some bug repellent cream from Meadowlark Valley or Bug Off from McAnulty Mercantile will keep dad comfortable while mowing the yard… Maybe some great steaks from Bluff Top, emu fillets from Gum Creek Emus, or bratwurst and polish sausage from Hoien will tickle his tastebuds! Get some fresh squash or zucchini from Holland Family Honey Farm, Connor’s Garden and Sweets or Pleasant View. Pleasant View listed fresh green beans this week! Don’t forget Dad’s favorite dessert! It’s a special week at RCM! Shop our fantastic local goods and celebrate Arkansas Farmers Market Week with us! Once you get used to truly fresh foods the grocery store products just won’t be the same! Remember to get your Christal Fields chicken this week or you will have to wait until next month! Be sure to look for B&B Legacy Soybeans on the extras table this week in addition to their edamame seeds. They are offering three varieties of dry soybeans and their website has tons of recipes for how to prepare them! Sample some smoked maple cheese from Meadowlark Valley, get a jumbo cookie from Connor’s Garden and Sweets or try one of Kaitlyn’s Sweets and Treats many cupcake or cookie flavors! Pleasant View has amazing wheat sandwich bread and you can get your yellow squash and green zucchini from Meadowlark Valley and Holland Family Honey Farm! There are plenty of nutritious microgreens from Shoal Creek Farm plus collards and kale from Sweet Life Farm. Don’t forget, this is the week that chicken from Christal Fields is available! We have an awesome selection of meats for you; get your favorite cut of chicken, beef, emu or pork! Summer vegetables are starting to come in! Plan some healthy meals this week with fresh squash and zucchini from Meadowlark Valley or Pleasant View! Meadowlark Valley also has Mediterranean herb cheese, halloumi, garlic and herb cheese, fresh ricotta and two flavors of ice cream this week! Meadowlark Valley has Chocolate Overload and Espresso Brownie ice cream this week!! They also have delicious Mediterranean herb cheese, halloumi, fresh ricotta, garlic and herb cheese and tasty BBQ sauces! Pleasant View has fresh kale and yellow squash in addition to her amazing baked goods and New Woodlands Farm has fresh herbs as well as their pork sausage and chorizo! There are still plenty of beautiful eggs available! Check out the fiesta flags from Sweet Life Farm if you need a re-usable and festive decoration! Have you seen all the new items on RCM this week? This time of year new items are popping up like seedlings in the sunshine! Welcome to our new sibling duo Kaitlyn’s Sweets and Treats and Connor’s Garden and Sweets! They are offering plants for your garden and some delicious looking baked goods and fudge!! Check out newly listed table runners from Houston Family Farm and Fiber and lovely handmade greeting cards from Hoof Hollow Hobbies! Gum creek Emus is offering a rump roast if you are looking for an adventurous dinner or try some tender fajita meat from R&D. Don’t forget to shop the fresh eggs and maybe try some of Meadowlark Valley’s Hawaiian Sauce or Spicy Cajun cheese! The live plant category is still chock full of great seedlings and larger plants to get your garden going. The Purple Gypsy and Meadowlark Valley both are offering a bug off balm to help keep the pesky critters away while you work outside! What’s on your menu this week?
