Thank you to all our RCM customers, both old and new, for supporting the market in 2023! We hope to continue providing amazing goods and groceries for our community in 2024 and spread the news about buying local to more new customers! Get a head-start on healthy resolutions with some tasty local foods! The Fortunate Mushroom has fresh mushrooms this week! They are great for making healthy dishes and delicious, too! It’s great weather for soup and chili; get great ingredients like local ground beef, Chorizo and more from C3 Beef, R&D or Bluff Top! Porch Swing Farms gave us a taste of their Cheddarbacks sausage at the holiday open house and it was amazing! They also have a spicy Italian sausage that is sure to be delicious, too! Pine Ridge Gardens has some peppers and kumquats from her greenhouse to banish your winter blues with a fresh taste! Get your apple a day from Drewry and get a great deal with their winter squash box sale! Some sourdough from Cecilia and Otis or Focaccia from Victoria’s Little Bread House goes great with soups and other warm dishes. Satisfy your sweet tooth with sweet baked goods from Kourtney, Kaitlyn or Connor and avoid preservatives and high fructose corn syrup with homemade jams and jellies! We can’t wait to see the great things and wonderful people we will meet in 2024! Let RCM bring the best our local makers have to offer to you!!

Let RCM help you have a happy holiday with foods and gifts for all your needs! This is the last market before Christmas, and the last market for 2023! RCM will re-open December 29th for the first 2024 market on January 2nd! Need cookies for Santa or just a bunch of hungry elves? Our baked goods category is sure to have your favorite flavor! Charcuterie for a party? Pine Ridge gardens has herb crackers, Meadowlark has cheese, Cecelia has amazing crusty sourdough and check out our selection of pepper jellies or other condiments . Drewry has raspberry jalapeno pepper jelly, The Thomas Family has green pepper jelly, Michael’s garden has Habanero Gold and Plum Ginger pepper jelly and Lucky Star has a cranberry relish! This is the last week for a while that Ralston rice will be available… they are taking a break until the next quarter, so stock up on your favorite flavors! RCM has tons of great gift baskets plus handcrafted items like Meadowlark’s handmade pens, Houston Family Farm and Fiber’s woven table runners, or ,Drewry and Meadowlark’s candles and hand creams. You can definitely stuff your stockings here! The Fortunate Mushroom has some fresh mushrooms available this week and there are fresh greens, peppers and, of course, pumpkins and winter squash ready to highlight your holiday table. Holiday dinners call for fantastic cuts of meat like spiral sliced ham from Porch Swing Farms, beef roasts from R&D, or pork roasts from Bluff Top! Retro Roasts coffee makes a great stocking stuffer and McAnulty Mercantile will deliver you a holiday party tray or you can use her spice blends in your favorite dishes! RCM is feeling very blessed this week after seeing everyone who came to our Merry Market last Tuesday! Thank you for supporting our amazing local vendors! Start planning holiday meals and party menus with beef roasts or stew meat from R&D, pork roast or pork belly from Bluff Top and sliced ham by the pound or whole sliced hams from Porch Swing Farms! I bet Porch Swing Farms sausage would make some amazing sausage balls for a party! McAnulty Mercantile is offering a special holiday platter of sweet treats that she will deliver fresh just for you! Make sure you shop all the great candies available. Keep your kitchen mess free and enjoy those special holiday sweets! There are lots of fudge flavors from Kaitlyn’s Sweets and Treats, McAnulty Mercantile and Isn’t She Sweet. Pine Ridge Gardens has homemade and hand-wrapped caramels, Kourtney’s Country Canning and More has homemade marshmallows and Goody Gang has freeze-dried treats in many flavors! We can definitely satisfy your sweet tooth! RCM is a great place to get unique hostess gifts for all those parties! Last week was definitely a Christmas whirlwind, but we had a great time seeing our wonderful customers and vendors at the same time! We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did! Maybe you found a new favorite food, learned about the people who are producing it or found some Christmas inspiration! RCM is full of great gifts for teachers, coaches, friends, co-workers and more! Give local products and introduce even more people to the amazing things to be had right here at home! If you saw something you liked last week make sure to look for it online this week or contact the vendor if you have a special request! We are happy to help! There are only 2 more markets before Christmas! While you are busy decking your halls let us make cookies for your elves, bread for your dinner table, and help you finish off that Christmas list while you are at it! My goodness, there are so many tempting foods and items available this week! Besides Drewry’s apples, Pine Ridge Gardens has kumquats in the fresh fruit category this week! If you haven’t tried them yet, The Fortunate Mushroom has lots of delicious-looking mushrooms ready to harvest. If you were interested in sampling all of the different kinds of Ralston Family Farms rice, check out their variety pack. Shop Wild Hare’s homemade pasta for gluten-free options and some tasty meals! Our bakers keep creating new goods to tempt us; there are too many tasty things to list! Look for your favorites or try something new! We have plenty of fresh eggs for making holiday goodies and amazing beef, pork and chicken for family meals. Spice it up with chorizo from R&D, sliced pork belly from Bluff Top or sliced ham from Porch Swing Farms. Enjoy granola from McAnulty Mercantile or turnip greens from Hoof Hollow Hobbies. Whew! Still full from Thanksgiving? That’s ok; RCM is ready to help you get going on those Christmas lists and make up for Thanksgiving with some healthy local foods! We want to remind everyone that during the December 5th market pickup we will be having our 2nd annual Holiday Market! We will be in the Central Presbyterian Church on the 5th and hope that you can all join the RCM staff and vendors to celebrate the season and shop local! Welcome to the newest RCM vendor, Wild Hare Nursery! We are excited to have them join us with their handmade pasta just in time for the Holiday Market! The last of the available Christal Fields chicken is listed online if you need to stock up or are feeling like some lighter meals this week! There are plenty of eggs available and B&B Legacy soybeans are also an excellent source of protein! Galangal plants from Pine Ridge Gardens can give you a supply of their fresh gingery flavor and The Fortunate Mushroom’s grow kits can help you establish your own fresh mushrooms! There are plenty of turnip greens from Hoof Hollow Hobbies and be sure to look at their lovely handmade greeting cards if you want to send a special greeting to friends or family!
