Shop local and get fresh, healthy choices at RCM! The weather is looking a little better this week…. Thanks to everyone who supported our vendors last week and braved the cold!! There’s plenty of awesome meats to plan warm meals and baked goods for any occasion! Brew a cup of Retro Roasts coffee or a cup of tea from locally grown plants to warm you up. Welcome our newest vendor Granola with Love to the RCM family and look for their homemade granola in the baked goods category! Maple Brook Bakery has been busy this week with the addition of several new products that include bagels, buns and banana bread! Kaitlyn’s Sweets and Treats is offering a new birthday cake flavored cookie and her decorated sugar cookies are great for any occasion! Get farm fresh eggs from our awesome egg vendors and taste the difference! Don’t forget the fresh apples from Drewry and the local honey from Rural Route! Last week was pretty tough for all the growing things… hopefully, we will have more items in the vegetable category as everything has a chance to recover from the weather a little more! Everyone is invited to attend a seed swap Saturday from 9-12 at the Dardanelle Library! Stay warm and happy shopping!

The weather is less than ideal this week, but it’s a great time to stock up on local groceries! Fill your freezer with tasty beef from R&D, C3Beef or Michael’s Garden and fantastic heritage breed pork from Porch Swing Farms! R&D has fajita meat for a great family meal, Michael’s Garden has short ribs on sale, a C3Beef value pack is a deal and a Porch Swing Farms pork roast sounds like a great idea for a chilly day! Besides the selection of amazing breakfast sausage from our vendors, R&D has chorizo and Porch Swing Farms has a spicy Italian sausage if you are looking for something to warm you up! Our talented bakers have a huge selection of bread and baked treats! Have you tried Cecelia and Otis’ tasty scones? Maple Brook, our newest baker has some yummy looking applesauce cookies, Kaitlyn’s Sweets and Treats brownie bites can satisfy your chocolate craving and Isn’t She Sweet’s strawberry bread or cinnamon rolls sound like a treat that’s great for breakfast or dessert! We are glad to have Pleasant View back from a break; if you have been missing her English muffins or artisan bread, they are available for you this week! Victoria’s Little Bread House has introduced a chocolate sourdough sweet roll and a sourdough baguette this week; both sound tasty! Stay warm with some Retro Roasts coffee, plan an amazing meal with some handcrafted pasta from Wild Hare Nursery, and make sure to get some jams and jellies or Rural Route honey to go with those baked goods! Lucky Star has a white peach jam and Kourtney’s Country Canning and More has a lovely beautyberry jelly and some homemade marshmallows for your hot chocolate! There are still fresh mushrooms available; get them while they are ready and add taste and nutrition to your recipes! A winter squash box from Drewry is a great deal on a supply of winter squashes for you to sample and their apples are crisp and refreshing in a season where fresh produce is not as plentiful! It is definitely a tough week for vegetables but there are still collards and mustard available and more to come as soon as the weather is nicer! Stay warm this afternoon and shop online! Remember to tell your friends about the great local goods you get from RCM’s vendors!

Brrrr…. Don’t go out in the cold; shop online from RCM and get amazing fresh groceries and unique products from our local friends and neighbors! It’s looking like a chilly week but we will be at the Depot on Tuesday ready to serve you! We are happy to have Pleasant View and JPB Feathery Friends back online this week! Pleasant View makes some tasty baked goods like her artisan bread and JPB Feathery Friends is offering duck and goose eggs. There are lots of lovely fresh chicken eggs available, as well, from Bluff Top, Drewry and Ford Farms! As usual, there’s no shortage of baked goods either…. Sample a variety of sourdough breads or get some sweet treats! Victoria’s Little Bread House has a new sourdough chocolate sweet roll and a sourdough baguette this week that look tasty! Stock your freezer for the yukky weather with great cuts of meat for hot meals and hearty dishes! Make delicious meals even better with fresh mushrooms from The Fortunate Mushroom! It’s a tricky week for vegetables… But Michael’s Garden will bring anything that survives the weather as extras on Tuesday! Check out B&B Legacy’s website for great and proven recipes using her dry soybeans. They are an affordable source of protein without cholesterol! Give her soybeans a try in some of your favorite recipes! Remember, we accept SNAP/EBT!

It’s another amazing week at RCM! Shop before 10 PM tonight to get great groceries for your family! Try sourdough bread or pretzels from our newest baker, Maple Brook Bakery, or plan meals around your favorites from Cecelia and Otis or Victoria’s Little Bread House! Cecelia’s Lemon Drop cookies are sure to banish the winter blues and Victoria’s sandwich bread will make delicious sandwiches to feed a crowd! Apricot hand pies from Pine Ridge Gardens are a tasty treat and Connor’s Garden and Sweets’ oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are a nice variation on classic chocolate chip! Isn’t She Sweet is baking this week; her strawberry bread and cinnamon rolls are delicious! Check out the beautiful handmade shawl from Hoof Hollow Hobbies or woven table runners from Houston Family Farm and Fiber in the Fiber Arts category. Kaitlyn’s Sweets and Treats can custom bake and decorate a cake for birthdays or special occasions and Kourtney’s Country Canning and More has delicious wild muscadine jelly. Remember to take advantage of The Fortunate Mushroom’s fresh mushrooms when they are available or try one of the many grow kits to grow your own! Fresh turnips from Hoof Hollow Hobbies are a nutritious choice and winter squash from Drewry are great for making delicious warm dishes! Besides Drewry’s fresh apples, Pine Ridge Gardens has fresh kumquats, too! There are plenty of fresh eggs available and lots of cuts of amazing meats. Bluff Top has sliced pork belly, C3 Beef has a great family pack and did you know R&D has beef breakfast sausage and chorizo? Porch Swing Farms has lovely pork chops and a selection of gourmet sausage that is delicious! If you are looking to try a different flavor, Wild Hare Nursery added pumpkin butter and apple-pear butter this week; and their handmade pasta is beautifully crafted! We have so many local foods to enjoy! Support our local growers and makers and taste the difference!

It’s a dreary day outside but you can stay cozy while you shop RCM for next week’s fantastic meals! B&B soybeans are an affordable and easy to use source of healthy protein to add to all kinds of recipes. Feeling like soup in this weather? The Fortunate Mushroom’s fresh mushrooms are sure to add amazing flavor to soups and the meat category is full of yummy cuts for soup, stew, chili or crockpots! Porch Swing Farms’ Itallian sausage sounds like a tasty choice for a warm meal! R&D has some great beef roasts and stew meat, Bluff Top and Porch Swing Farms have pork roasts and Michael’s Garden has some big chunky pieces of beef short ribs for your crockpot! Hoof Hollow Hobbies added a beautiful crocheted shawl to the fiber arts category this week; make sure to check it out! RCM will re-open December 29th for the first 2024 market on January 2nd! Need cookies for Santa or just a bunch of hungry elves? Our baked goods category is sure to have your favorite flavor! Charcuterie for a party? Pine Ridge gardens has herb crackers, Meadowlark has cheese, Cecelia has amazing crusty sourdough and check out our selection of pepper jellies or other condiments . Drewry has raspberry jalapeno pepper jelly, The Thomas Family has green pepper jelly, Michael’s garden has Habanero Gold and Plum Ginger pepper jelly and Lucky Star has a cranberry relish! This is the last week for a while that Ralston rice will be available… they are taking a break until the next quarter, so stock up on your favorite flavors! RCM has tons of great gift baskets plus handcrafted items like Meadowlark’s handmade pens, Houston Family Farm and Fiber’s woven table runners, or ,Drewry and Meadowlark’s candles and hand creams.
