Don’t forget to shop before 10 PM! There are a couple of our awesome growers on vacation this week but there’s still lots of great locally produced goods available! As usual, there are plenty of baked choices and we have several flavors of ice cream available as extras this week! Microgreens are a great choice for healthy greens year-round; check out the varieties we have! Keep things sweet with local jams, jellies and honey; they are a taste of summer that’s always in season! There are lots of traditional flavors available as well as some interesting combinations! Have you tried Arkansas bacon? There are also many delicious cuts of beef available for this week’s menu! There are still potatoes, baby veggie mix, turnips, okra, peppers, yellow squash and mild and hot jalapenos available, as well. Try some natural beauty products and keep you and your pets squeaky clean!

Meadowlark Valley has Mediterranean Herb and Spicy Cajun cheese this week as well as new ice cream flavors like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Cotton Candy, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, and Rocky Road! We also have some ice cream available as extras! Make sure to check out the baked goods to see who is baking this week and look at the wide variety of fresh herbs to spice up your meals!

Happy Labor Day weekend! Don’t forget to order something tasty for next week! The extras table has been really great lately, so make sure you check it out when you pick up your order! Ask an RCM helper about items like extra meat, eggs or ice cream, too! We are planning to have peaches from Drewry Farm by the pound on the extras table as long as they are available; get a few before they are gone!
If you haven’t recieved an RCM magnet, remember to ask about them! Grab a couple to give away or to stick on your fridge to remind you to order! They are a great way to spread the word to friends, family or co-workers about the local goodies on our market!

As Summer winds down watch for the last of your summer season favorites! As cooler weather is on the horizon farmers are already planting the next season’s tasty treats! Aunt Melvie Brownies are available this week as well as sourdough olive bread from Skyline Acre! Try pear pecan bread from Lucky Star, maple pecan bananna bread from Allesafe Sweet Treats or browned butter pecan cookies from Isn’t She Sweet Bakery. Shoal Creek Farm and Sulphur Springs Truck Patch still have fresh flowers available and Meadowlark Valley has tasty cheeses and decadent ice cream, too! Get a great pot roast from Bluff Top or R&D farms, steaks from Holland Family Farms, R&D, Bluff Top or Michael’s Garden. R&D has specialty ground beef, skirt steak, short ribs, stew meat, fillets, steak tips, brisket, fajita meat and flank steak. Hoien has bratwurst, hamburger patties, chorizo, Polish sausage and Italian ground beef available. Get a delicious pork roast from Bluff Top, too!
