Our Oyster Mushrooms have a chewy savory umami flavor profile. They are grown in an indoor greenhouse under a controlled environment suitable for mushroom cultivation. There are many ways to cook an oyster mushroom and there is nothing wrong with making it simple! Here is our recipe: Sautéed Oyster Mushroom. Cook on medium heat for 3 minutes with butter, olive oil, garlic and thyme. For 1 minute, cook on high heat and add your spices of choice (we use chicken bouillon). Serve! (And they're a great alternative for those who don't like cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving and Christmas.) Pearly Jackson was the pastry cook at Hotel Seville in Harrison in the early fifties. She gave my great-grandmother her recipe; we still have Pearly's handwritten copy. It's a tedious process but the result is one of my favorite things! (And they make great Christmas presents!)
