There are some fantastic meal makings on RCM this week! What can you do with top quality meats like pork roast from Bluff Top, sliced ham from Porch Swing Farms, a family pack from C3 Beef or Ossobuco from R&D? Wild Hare is back with pasta this week and The Fortunate Mushroom has fresh mushrooms! There are a few veggies still available like parsley, kale or endive from Pine Ridge Gardens and fresh turnips from Hoof Hollow. We surely have the right breads to complement your meals and desserts to finish them off with 180 choices in the baked goods category! Have you tried Kaitlyn’s Sweets and Treats birthday cake cookies? Enjoy Victoria’s Little Bread House’s Caprese focaccia or new Itty Bitty Boule. Cecelia and Otis also offer different sizes of loaves to fit your needs! Maple Brook Bakery’s bagels are tasty for breakfast or snacks and she is working on a gluten-free sourdough bread for folks with special dietary needs! Pleasant View’s wheat sandwich bread or English muffins are always tasty and Meadowlark’s Irish Cream Bundt cakes are something new to try! Don’t forget treats for your pets from Treat Street Pet Bakery and some of the first daffodils of the season are available from Michael’s Garden. Celebrate President’s Day with an apple pie from Drewry or just enjoy their wonderful apples! The chickens think spring is here already and there are tons of fresh eggs that need to be enjoyed. If you like grape jelly be sure to try possum grape jelly from Kourtney’s Country Canning and More; possum grape is some of the best grape jelly you will taste! We love connecting our local producers with customers who are enjoying their local groceries! Tell your friends and taste the difference in local products!
