Remember to order some great foods for this week’s menu before you ring in the new year! It has been a wonderful year of sharing local foods and products with our community and we are excited to see how we can continue to grow in 2024! It is so rewarding to be the link in connecting local producers with consumers and seeing people marvel at and enjoy the difference in eating local! What will be on your menu this week? Try handmade pasta from The Wild Hare, artisan sourdough from Victoria’s Little Bread House or Cecelia and Otis, or Farmstand cornbread from Lucky Star. We love having fresh fruit available for our customers! Enjoy some apples from Drewry or start your year off with healthy recipes using their winter squash box as inspiration! There are plenty of fresh eggs from several growers plus ginger root and endive from Pine Ridge Gardens, turnip greens from Hoof Hollow Hobbies and a beautiful assortment of oyster mushrooms from The Fortunate Mushroom to savor! Make sure you check out the spicy Italian pork sausage from Porch Swing Farms, the top round roast from R&D and the bone-in ribeye steaks from Bluff Top! Did you know Kaitlyn’s Sweets and Treats is offering some new gluten-free options? Enjoy some of her sweets for dessert or discover a southern delicacy with Kourtney’s possum grape jelly!
