Celebrate summer this week at RCM! Enjoy live music, demonstrations, and visit with our amazing vendors! Our “Midsummer Market” open house will be from 4-7 PM during order pickup. Remember, downtown will be a busy place… and we will be at the Central Presbyterian Church. In addition to all the great groceries online, there’s no telling what surprises our growers may bring to the open house! We have delicious summer vegetables! There’s plenty of squash and zucchini, green beans, cucumbers, peppers, onions and more! Our talented bakers offer quite a selection of breads and sweet treats! Try sandwich bread from Pleasant View, Sourdough Olive bread from Skyline Acre and beautiful artisan sourdough from Otis and Cecelia. These are just a few of the choices! Let our young bakers Connor and Kaitlyn make you some lovely cupcakes or delicious cookies for your next road trip, picnic, or maybe an outing to the pool! It’s not too late to fill the gaps in your garden with live plants like rosemary, thyme and lemon verbena from Pine Ridge gardens or some extra pepper plants from Connor’s Garden and Sweets! Meadowlark Valley has ice cream to help you beat the heat along with fresh ricotta and garlic and herb dippable cheese, in addition to their selection of tasty condiments like blueberry barbeque sauce and hibiscus vinegar! McAnulty Mercantile has a great selection of unique seasonings; pair them with some beef from C3 Beef, Bluff Top, Hoien, R&D or Michael’s Garden! We have great pork sausage and chorizo from New Woodlands, too! Shop before 10 PM to get your fresh local groceries for the week and come see what our vendors have to offer at our open house Tuesday from 4-7! Help us spread the word that we accept SNAP benefits!
