Hey everyone, welcome to another market week!
A big thank you to everyone who came out to support our Pies for Pavement fundraiser with the McElroy House! I think we sold out of all of our pies within about 25 minutes!! If you weren’t able to get a pie this around, don’t worry! We are going to have another pie event soon…probably before Thanksgiving! Look out for an announcement about this in the near future.
A quick reminder that our RCM Soap Making Workshop is this Thursday (Oct. 24th) from 5:30-6:30 at All Saints Church Kitchen. Workshop tickets are available on the market for $5.00; be sure to add a ticket to your order this week to reserve a spot. There are some spots left for the workshop. Be sure to get your ticket soon!
This Thursday also marks the start of Food Day 2013. We’ll be celebrating here at RCM, and we will also be co-hosting an event at Arkansas Tech University starting at 11:00 a.m. in the middle of campus at the Bell Tower. If you have the chance, come out and join us for this Food Day celebration! Never heard of Food Day? Check out the Food Day website and learn what they are all about.
We’ll also be hosting Kristin Foster of Homemade To Go this Thursday. She is bringing samples of her products for everyone to try! Be sure to look for her when you arrive for pick-up!
We want to welcome Bluebird Hill Berry Farm to RCM. They are our newest addition to the market! They are adding lots of beef products, baked goods, homemade sauces and salsas, blueberries, and CHEESE: Colby cheese, white and yellow cheddar cheese, and jalapeno cheddar cheese! Bluebird Hill Berry Farm will also be offering eggs, jams, and fabric items and embroidery. Be sure to check out all of these great new products!
