Don’t forget to shop before the market closes at 10 PM this evening! At RCM you not only get products directly to you much fresher than the grocery store, but you can ask questions, get tips and learn about where and how your food was grown! Try something different in the baked goods or jams and jellies category this week; there are so many choices! Try microgreens as an addition to salads and smoothies or on their own! Don’t forget the local honey, fresh herbs and spices and delicious meats that are available! Welcome new grower Sonshine Meadows to the RCM family this week! We are always excited to add another member to our community of people working together to provide great foods and products that are fresh, local and conveniently found online!

The weather may be chilly, but the growers and makers at RCM are staying busy growing and creating top quality foods and goods for you! Find your favorite fresh and local products online while you stay cozy at home! The Purple Gypsy has fresh batches of soap and lotion bars to keep your skin healthy and smelling great! In addition to apples, winter squash and pumpkins, Drewry Farm and Orchard has been busy making several new scents of candles and wax melts for you to choose from! Hoien Farms has been restocking their grass-fed beef; now you can fill your freezer with your favorites! R&D Farms has some great choices for roasts and premium steak cuts, too! Thank goodness for Mountainview Microgreens, Pine Ridge Gardens and Shoal Creek Farms for keeping the green vegetables coming! The weather was not kind to outdoor gardens but, thanks to the microgreen, greenhouse and hydroponic growers, we have fresh green vegetables available!

Don’t forget, the Market closes at 10 PM this evening! Get some unique coffee from Retro Roasts or Three Tail Coffee to help you keep those New Year’s projects on track! Drewry Farms and Orchards has added some great candles, wax melts and jams this week, or let them help you get your apple a day! There are plenty of apple options on RCM. Maybe you feel like making some applesauce, trying apple butter, apple butter pound cake, or perhaps an apple pie sounds good!
New Year’s diet have you looking for a natural sweetener? Stock up on delicious local honey and your tastebuds won’t miss the processed sugars!
There are 4 options for value packs of meats available for filling your freezer or you can shop for your favorite cuts. It’s a great time of year for a pot roast!
We still have baby veggie mix available and several types of microgreens. They Make a great salad on their own or topping for sandwiches and additions to smoothies! Baking winter squash is easy and healthy; get some before they are all gone for the season! There are green, red and yellow onions still in stock and some tasty herbs.
JBP Feathery Friends has Duck eggs this week if you feel like trying something different or if you are looking for an alternative to chicken eggs.

Happy New Year to everyone! The new year inspires us all in different ways… Some feel the need to organize, to try to change our daily habits for healthier ones, for personal growth or to improve our relationships or maybe to just live life to the fullest! Just like the changing of the old year for the new, or the changing of the seasons, change and growth are an integral part of life, and at RCM we are ready to embrace a new year full of opportunities! Here’s to all of us: may we all be healthy, happy and receptive to growth in the new year to come!

A few things you might want to check out this week… Pine Ridge Gardens has a Meyer Lemon tree available as well as a Bay leaf tree, lemon grass, sorrel greens, sweet potatoes, bunching green onions and fruitcake! Drewry Orchards and Farm still have delicious apples and pumpkins, winter squash and Raspberry Jalapeno jam! Shoal Creek Farm has Genovese basil, lemon balm, parsley, baby veggie mix, Swiss Chard, red and yellow onions, and a wide variety of microgreens. Our meat selection is pretty great right now; I bet we have the cut you are looking for! R&D is offering Chorizo flavored bratwurst, neck bones and marrow bones for making broth, stew meat and more. Hoien farms has Chorizo, hot Italian sausage, Polish sausage and bratwurst to warm you up! Get your whole chickens, leg quarters, mild pork sausage and ground pork from Young Family Farms to round our your menu! Keep things clean in the new year with laundry detergent from Irish Elk Farms. Eucalyptus and Spearmint is back along with other favorites like Bombshell, Ann Rice’s Red Velvet Couch and new White Lotus!

Let RCM bring you some holiday cheer with quality and locally produced goods! There are still plenty of Christmas goodies available…Three Tail Coffee is offering a special holiday blend, there are a wide variety of ready made gift baskets available, we have homemade fudge, truffles, pralines and more in the candy category and even homemade ice cream to accent your holiday desserts! Finish your Christmas list with candles, soaps and beauty products, or hand crafted decorations, pens, cutting boards and more! We have plenty of pumpkins, winter squash and apples to help you create a special holiday meal or shop the baked goods category to let us take care of it for you! Cakes, pies, breads and cookies for Santa are all available! There are still a few fresh herbs to season your special dishes, or you can get a great deal with a value pack of meat from Hoien or R&D Farms as well as delicious steaks, roasts or brisket for your celebrations! Don’t forget ground pork or whole chicken from Young Family Farm too! There is a little fresh lettuce still available or you can give your salads a boost in flavor and nutrition by adding microgreens. Drewry Farm and Orchard has the last of this year’s Arkansas Black apples too! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the open house this Tuesday! RCM will be closed for the holidays next week, but we will be back on January 3rd and excited to help you feed your families in the new year!!

Shoal Creek Farms has beautiful and tasty greens of all kinds- lettuces, chard, basil at least 6 different ways, a variety of microgreens, flowers, fresh ginger and more! Pine Ridge Gardens has turmeric root, bay leaves, and sage available. Maybe their Rosemary crackers would be delicious with the Fromage Blanc dip from Meadowlark Valley! Drewry Farms’ winter squash box is a bargain for a variety of squashes that should keep you stocked until the new year! Maybe a chicken dinner suits your family size better than a turkey? Get fresh whole chicken and other cuts from Young Family Farms!
